I was checking out the pics, and wondered why Harpo was referred to as Squirrel?

Hi Gretchen,

Thanks for posting. When we get some more entries I'm hoping to combine them and post some history, here and on our website.

That's great you'll be able to make it to the reunion game! I think we should be able to post a location soon. I've gotta get a hold of Rob Miller and see how that's coming along.

Look forward to seeing you soon,

I played with UConn from 01-05, and I'm currently playing for Syracuse University (fox force seven). While I was at UConn the team was pretty much coed, we had a small but consistent group of women on the team. My first year (2001) was a rebuilding year for the team, it was basically renewed by a senior bio major named Andy. That first year I think we only went to two tournaments and by my junior we were attending High Tide in Savannah as well as sectionals. We also got a coach my junior year (Chad) and the team improved immensely that year, it helped that we quadrupled our membership in one year. Besides college tournaments, we also played in the Connecticut Indoor League and played against some alum in that forum. I've also played in the BUDA summer league for two seasons with WHUF and have played summer, spring, fall and winter here in Syracuse. I'm looking forward to the alumni game this year because I missed it last year. Luckily they moved the date of Metro East regionals so I won't have to worry about any conflicts with my current team.

 Forum & Posting RULES

Here are our rules.

If you choose not to follow the rules, you will get a warning. You may be banned for multiple infractions!

* Please read all the rules and guidelines here; other forums may have different rules.
* Always be courteous.
* Before creating a new topic thread, please search to see if a similar topic already exists.
* Follow standard grammar and spelling rules and avoid slang.
* Our forum is categorized, please post in the correct section.
* When making an inquiry, one should include as much information as possible, especially in the subject line. For example, DON'T use this subject line "Need help immediately!!!"
* Stay on-topic.
* Avoid Double posting (twice in the same category) and Crossposting (in multiple categories).
* To avoid appearing self-absorbed, respond to topics started by others more often than starting topics of your own.
* Contributors should avoid the use of all CAPITAL LETTERS in posts. All CAPS is considered "shouting" and causes readability issues.
* Do not resurrect a very old topic if nothing significant will be added. This practice is known as revival or Necroing.
* Refrain from lashing back at a poorly behaving member or participating in a flame war; instead, notify the messageboard's staff of the event.
* When quoting a previous post, only include the relevant portion of that post. Keep in mind that everyone else can likely still see the message you are quoting on the same screen and can read it again if need be.
* When quoting an article, your must give credit where credit is due. Provide the article's original name and author's full name.
* Do NOT write your email address or anyone else's in a post. This makes it VERY easy for you to be spammed by people who are not members of this forum. Use the Private Message (PM) icon to send someone a message.

 Dennis saying Hi
« Result #6 on Mar 17, 2007, 7:53pm »

Hi, Dennis here. I'm only posting here b/c my wife created this and she's making me. Actually, she's typing and I'm not even home. (He's putting one of the kids in bed.)

I'm so old I don't even remember how I got involved you people. God, I'm a curmudgeon. I'm so old I don't really even know how to use a computer.

My roots go back to Central, the Tourists, remnents of the Dukes and that's my connection.

Ask Peter K or Chuck Richards to confirm this statement. (He's dictating this part, I know it sounds weird, but this is Dennis.)

See you guys in April. We'll catch up more.

Pray for good weather.

 Becky saying hello
« Result #9 on Mar 9, 2007, 10:41pm »

Hi everyone,

I'm Becky, Beck, Kalom now Cronin. I started this here forum and that there website. It's really late and I've been working on it pretty much all day and think I am going a bit blind and have carpel tunnel symdrome. But I'm not quite dead yet.

So hopefully I'll come back and write something nice and sunny about my family.

I played from 1991 - 1995. It's all Matt Pinckney's fault. SOB.

Oh, way and Ultimate saved my life, too.

Thanks, Cone. I know you had to rewrite everything from the other (STUPID) forum. :)

I like this version anyways - a little more info.
